CP Loony Shares Inspiration
on Godspeed
CP Loony recently dropped his new EP titled Godspeed. The seven song EP provides fans an up close look inside a very
personal journey for the Austin based hip-hop artist with raw, but harmonious bars mixed with head nodding beats.
Touching on subjects such as family, relationships, spirituality, and staying focused on your dreams, he described the EP as "... definitely motivational," encouraging listeners to, "turn it up and get inspired!"
Godspeed also includes two touching tribute songs. "Grandson" (which is Loony's favorite song on the project) is a tribute to his late grandfather, and "Black Magic" which is a tribute to late boxer Travell Mazion (who came out to Loony's song "Thru it All" for his fight against Diego Cruz.)
The 28 year old rapper describes himself as a student/fan of the whole hip hop & R&B culture. When asked about his favorite moment in his 15 years making music, he humbly responded, "the whole journey is my favorite moment. I enjoy it and don't take anything for granted."
"I just want everybody to know through my music, that you can be anything you want in life. All you gotta do is stay
true to your art, believe in your craft, have faith and watch it materialize."
CP Loony has started touring. You can catch him in cities such as Portland, Los Angeles, Atlanta,
and Washington D.C. in the near future.
Godspeed is available on all music streaming platforms. For more information, you can visit www.cploony.com
